The Swiss chef Anton Mosimann, who cooked for Elizabeth II for many years and who has acquired the standing of an excellent worldwide chef, was passing by way of Sense on Monday. Tireless, he now serves King Charles III a few times every week.
At 75, the Swiss chef Anton Mosimann was within the kitchen of the restaurant “Zum Schlüssel” in Ueberstorf, in Friborg Sense, on Monday.
Devoted to his bow tie and his crimson socks, he notably ready his well-known mushroom risotto, an emblematic dish of his delicacies which goals to be pure: little cream, little butter, little alcohol and even much less stress.

In 2004, he was even made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by the Queen of England herself. “I cooked for her for 45 years. Personally, I miss her quite a bit. She was a unprecedented visitor”, testifies Anton Mosimann.
And it’s in his native dialect that this son of restaurateurs dispenses his royal anecdotes. “Girl Diana got here to my home to eat risotto with the kids. They will need to have been 7-8 years outdated,” he recollects.
All the time able to be taught
And the chef, regardless of his three-quarters of a century, is tireless. “Whether or not I’m going to China, Laos, or wherever on the earth, I at all times eat native,” he says passionately. “I prefer it and it is also good for my data. I am able to be taught, I am not too outdated. I am at all times prepared to find one thing new.”
Anton Mosimann now cooks a few times every week for the brand new British monarch, King Charles III.
