Dancing with the celebs 2022: Pierre Mauduy reveals the explanations for the absence of a number of emblematic dancers
Throughout an interview for our colleagues from Télé-Loisirs, Pierre Mauduy returned to the absence of sure emblematic dancers from Dancing with the celebs.
One factor is for certain, this twelfth season of Dance with the celebs has gone by way of many adjustments. Some emblematic dancers weren’t current, like Christian Millette, Denitsa Ikonomova, Samuel Texier and even Maxime Dereymez. So as to clarify the absence of the latter, Pierre Mauduy, new dancer of this system was questioned by our colleagues from Tele-Leisure. First level, the dancer evokes the bodily compatibility between the superstar and the performer : “They attempt to do in line with the personalities within the casting. The templates and the morphologies between the dancers and the celebs should stick”he explains.
And generally it is performed at detriment of some dancers : “I don’t conceal it, I’m not very tall, Sam may be very tall, so essentially a persona like Carla doesn’t correspond to a dancer like him”, he reveals to justify the ousting of his predecessor. Pierre Mauduy needs to impose himself little by little in Dance with the celebs : “It’s a purpose to inform myself that I wish to have a profession like Christophe Licata or Fauve Hautot, they’re iconic and important dancers. To turn out to be like them, you simply need to work and keep your self.”
