Netflix is preparing a month of October loaded with horrific content. One of them is none other than “Mr. Harrigan’s Phone”, an adaptation of a short story by Stephen King, with a spine-chilling story.
The world of Stephen King, king of horror literature, encounters that of Ryan Murphy for the first time. The creator of American Horror Story produces, with Jason Blum, Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, adaptation of a short story, appeared in the collection If it bleedsreleased in 2020. The film, directed by John Lee Hancock (A matter of details, The blind side), is expected on October 5 on the Netflix platform.
The story follows a young boy named Craig. While living in a small town, he meets an old man, Mr. Harrigan, with whom he will befriend. Both share their passion for books and communicate through a telephone. When the old man dies, the teenager continues to receive messages from his cell phone, which is buried with him.
