House of the Dragon on OCS: Game of Thrones fans furious after the broadcast of episode 2 – News Séries

This is a controversy that the creators of House of the Dragon certainly did not expect. The Game of Thrones prequel is today under fire from critics, following the revelation of its credits during episode 2 broadcast this Monday, August 29 on OCS City.

Many fans have indeed disapproved of the decision to use the theme of the Game of Thrones series to accompany the opening sequence of its spin-off. And we are obviously not talking about a reorchestration or a modified version, but rather the authentic theme used in the eight seasons of the parent series!

A choice most certainly justified by the intention of confirming the links which unite the two series (despite the 172 years which separate their plots), but experienced by some viewers as that of ease.

Never mind, the disappointment caused by the credits did not prevent the series from signing historic audiences in the United States and from being officially renewed for a second season.
