In the abandoned house hid the bruised body of a 24-year-old ex-reality TV candidate

This Friday, August 26, a former reality TV candidate, Ashley Tropezhas been found dead in a abandoned house of San Bernardino County, California, United States. The 24-year-old had achieved minor fame a few years ago, by participating in the show Beyond Scared Straight.

At the time, Ashley Tropez was 17 years old, and had participated in the program during which troubled teenagers are sent to a prison for three daysin order to make them discover the reality of the prison world. At the time of the show’s taping, the young woman was described as “brawler who got into trouble and sold drugs”. But as the American media Page Six reports, her participation in the program would not have helped her in the end. “I am still the same. I hang around, I change houses”she said.

Suspect arrested

Launched in 2009, Beyond Fear followed the journey of 331 adolescents in 29 prisons. Nominated for the Emmy Awards, the show finally ended after nine seasons.

As reported by the site Deadline, when the body of Ashley Tropez was discovered, this one bore signs of injury. The police said thata suspect was arrested in that case. This is Alexis Call, a 24-year-old woman. This last “knew the victim and they may have been living in the same residence”investigators said.
